Ft. Lauderdale, Florida

It's a beautiful, sunny, breezy day here in south Florida. Perfect way to start a long sea voyage.  The seas are calm and my fellow passengers, mostly Brits and Canadians, are filled with the anticipation that one feels when embarking on a new adventure. I can see Independence but we are not inboard yet. She looks lovely basking in the Florida sunshine.
