Tfrom Jaco Beach, Costa Rica, surfing capital of the West. The waves are wonderful and the water temperature is 84 degrees. Perfect. This town is a throwback from the heyday of surfing. There are hundreds of surfers here from all over the world. What a kick this is. It' really a fun place.

They let us off the "plague ship" at 8 this morning and we took a van with two other couples for a tour of the area including two stops at beautiful mountain hotels with spectacular views. We spent the rest of the trip at Jaco Beach, great waves and warm water. Just delicious.

We will be at sea for the next five days and I will try to post again. I am trying to send photos. Be patient.
