Barcelona

Equinox

Barcelona

Having visited this lovely city on three previous occasions we were very familiar with it and walked miles and miles without getting lost. We did Las Ramblas, which was as crazy as ever and even more crowded than ever. We went to the Barri Gotic, the Gothic Quarter, the Plaza Cataluna, the Corte Ingles department store, had tapas and Sangria in a sidewalk cafe and then went to the beach. It was so much fun. We are both exhausted but went Latin dancing tonght , regardless. This cruise is really fun!

The Modernista architecture by Antoni Gaudi is so fascinating that I never get tired of it. The city of Barcelona should be a must on any trip to Spain. The city is thriving, the fashion sense of the inhabitants is right on and they have great shoe stores! There are many fine museums, concerts, ballets and the culture is outstanding.
